GLASS VIBRATION GAZE |
The site-specific work Glass Vibration Gaze transforms windowpanes into an installation. Stethoscopes on the glass amplify the environmental sounds from the building. Other tones are induced and mixed with transducers onto the windowpanes.
A stethoscope is used as a microscopic listening device and thus captures sounds through the glass. Visitors look from a chair at the scenery outside while listening through a vibration phenomenon. |
